There are 5 routes from this start point, some of which are challenging. Plan to take three hours to complete the longer routes. Wear good footwear, bring food and water and a walking stick, and pack basic first aid supplies.

- Francis/King Munn Road (5 km). This route explores some of the beautiful trails in Francis/King Park, starting from the Francis/King parking lot on Munn Road. Trail rating is 2C.
- Francis/King Munn road (10 km). This route explores even more of the trails in Francis/King Park. Trail rating is 3C.
- Mt. Work, Munn Road (5 km). This route takes you to Kinghorn cabin and back ( 5 km). The route starts from the Mt. Work parking lot on Munn Road. Trail rating is 2B.
- Mt. Work, Munn Road ( 9 km). Climb to the summit of Mt. Work, returning by a different route. Trail rating is 4C - very difficult!
- Mt. Stewart, Scafe Hill, Munn Road (10 km). This route goes to the top of Mount Steward and Scafe Hill, which provides for stunning views on a clear day. Start from the Mt. Work parking lot on Munn Road. Trail rating is 4C - very difficult!
